About Me
Welcome to my portfolio website! My name is Liliana Klein, and if you're here, you probably want to know a little bit about me and what I can do. Let me give you the rundown:
I'm a game designer proficient in C#, C++, Python, Java, and Javascript, and I have experience working in both Unity and Unreal Engine 4.
I also have a bit of a writing addiction, and I love to tell stories in games and out. I've written interactive narratives, regular ol' game narratives, and I'm working on a book, too. In other words: with my combination of skills, I'd make a great programmer, writer, or designer on any team!
My Story
Even as a child, I was passionate about games and storytelling. At age 11, I created my first video game: an online adventure game about cats. Before long, 30,000 people had played the game, and I knew then that I had to pursue my dreams and become a game designer. That dream led me on a journey to where I am today: a junior at the Rochester Institute of Technology pursuing a degree in Game Design & Development.

At around the same time, I started writing. I was (and still am) hooked on the fantasy genre ever since I read the Lord of the Rings, and I spew fantasy stories, worlds, and characters on a daily basis. I have a book in the works, and I've come to enjoy writing so much I decided to become a writing consultant at my university and a beta reader for certain prominent fantasy authors including Brandon Sanderson.

In fact, my love for fantasy and writing grew so much that I took up German Longsword, a Historical European Martial Art. I've studied the art for 5 years now in my native New York City, and I can't wait to use my skills and knowledge of historical combat to improve the games I make and the stories I tell.
